Cancellation policy

How it works. Moss & Missives is a letter sent by Canada Post. When you subscribe, your card is charged at checkout and then again on the same date each billing period: every month for Founding and Monthly letters, every three months for A season of letters. Postage and any sales tax are shown at checkout and on every charge.

When letters mail. Letters mail around the last quarter moon each month. If you're subscribed on mailing day, that month's envelope is yours. Canada only for now.

Managing your subscription. Sign in to your Likely Tale account (the link is in every subscription email) to change your address or card, skip a month, pause, or cancel. You don't need to email me, but you always can.

Cancelling. Cancel any time before your next billing date and you won't be charged again. You keep anything you've already paid for: if you've paid for an envelope that hasn't mailed yet, it still comes.

Price changes. If the price ever changes, I'll email you at least 30 days before your next charge at the new price, and you can cancel before then.

Failed payments. If a charge doesn't go through, Shopify will try again over the next few days and email you to update your card. If it still fails, the subscription pauses until it's fixed.
